Tin Mountain’s 2nd Summer Solstice Yoga Festival! Public Invited

Come celebrate the summer solstice at Tin Mountain’s Summer Solstice Yoga Festival on Sunday, June 19. A full day of yoga classes with some of the valley’s most dedicated instructors are available all day, and run every hour on the hour from 9 AM to 4 PM. The first summer solstice marks the time when the sun reaches its highest height on a geographical pole in the northern hemisphere. Reach one of your highest states of mind by relaxing, stretching and enjoying yoga workshops. The festival takes place at the Tin Mountain Nature Learning Center on Bald Hill Road in Albany situated on the Rockwell Sanctuary, 138 acres of pristine woodlands, fields and streams and ponds and nature trails.

Yoga classes are offered for all abilities.9 AM – Core Fusion flow with Pamela Marshall, 10 AM – Ashtanga-based yoga with Nichole Gould; 11 AM – Slow flow yoga with Allison Cooke; 12 PM – Vinyasa yoga with Christie Ann Rochette, 1 PM – Yin yoga with Marcia Uhl; 2 PM – Kripalu yoga with Venessa Mckinsey; 3 PM – Meditation class with Jen Deraspe; 4 PM – Yoga nidra with Nichole Gould

Pay what you can or want, 100 percent of the proceeds will benefit Tin Mountain environmental programs. The suggested donation is $10 a class.
