Cranmore expands summit offerings with hiking, Tuckerman Brewing Tasting Room and lunch served daily

NORTH CONWAY, N.H. – Cranmore’s scenic chairlift ride will take guests to new heights this summer. The summit will feature a new Tuckerman Brewery tasting room at the Meister Hut, plus a newly expanded summit hike. In addition, the Meister Hut serves lunch daily from 11am-4pm and features Gifford’s Ice Cream. Scenic chairlift rides open for the season Saturday, June 18th, and run daily through Labor Day.

Cranmore Introduces Tuckerman Brewing Tasting Room at the Meister Hut

With an expanded partnership with Tuckerman Brewing, Cranmore’s summit Meister Hut will serve as a satellite tasting room for their brewery, located on Hobbs Street in Conway. Flights of five Tuckerman samples will be available for sale, along with single tastings and full pints. Flight purchases include an exclusive souvenir pint glass.

Two brand new ales, the Swift River Summer and Zealand Session, currently only located at the brewery, will also be available.

On Father’s Day, Sunday, June 19th, Tuckerman Brewing will host a promo at the Meister Hut from 1pm-3pm. During that time, fathers who purchase a flight will receive a free ticket for the 2016 Tuckerman Brewing Co. Music Series concert that evening featuring Tom Dixon. The series takes place at the Tuckerman Brewery, from 4pm-7pm. Tickets are $5 for adults 21+, under 21 years of age are free.

“We’re really excited about our expanded partnership with Tuckerman Brewing,” said Cranmore’s Food and Beverage Director, Mike Rennie. “We are now not only Tuckerman’s first off-site tasting room, but are offering the most Tuckerman beer on tap in the Valley. Plus, this gives another great reason for our guests to take a trip to the Meister Hut.”

Cranmore Expands Summit Hiking

Starting at the Meister Hut, guests can experience a newly added ½ mile loop around the summit. This hike is suitable for guests of all ages. Hikers can take in the scenic views of the Valley including downtown North Conway, the Conway Scenic Railroad, the Saco River, the Moat Mountains and Presidential Mountains including Mount Washington and more. Picnic areas are located throughout the trail.

For hikers looking for a longer trek, Black Cap Trail offers a 2 mile traverse to the neighboring Black Cap Mountain. The trail head is located off the summit of Cranmore.

“The new hike is a great addition to our summit offerings. It’s perfect because it’s family friendly and appropriate for all ages, plus, you can’t beat the views.” Said Cranmore Director of Operations, Glenn Harmon. “For guests looking for a longer trip, we encourage them check out Black Cap trail, which is also accessible from the summit. This trail is a bit longer at a 2 mile traverse over, but is very popular for summer hikers.”

Hikers are to hike are their own risk.

Cranmore’s Mountain Adventure and Aerial Adventure Park are now open daily, Saturday, June 18th, through Labor Day, 10am-5pm. All inclusive and ala cart tickets can be purchased on-line, for a $5 discount. Single ride scenic chairlift rides can also be purchased for $13 per person. To encourage local residents to visit the summit, 2 for 1 scenic chairlift rides will be available for residents for Carroll, Coos and Oxford Counties; must show proof of permanent residency to redeem, and cannot be combined with other offers.
