Snowmaking Season Underway at Bretton Woods

Bretton Woods’s award-winning snowmaking team is all fired up for no tricks and all treats this Halloween, as snowmaking season has officially begun.  The crew will work around the clock as conditions allow to prepare for Bretton Woods’ 50th Anniversary season opener around mid-November.  Lead by a core, locally-based team, this year’s crew comes from all over the country and have decided to make northern New Hampshire their winter home. Hailing from Georgia, North Carolina, Texas, Connecticut and New York, these guys are excited to get their feet wet and their fingers cold.

Bretton Woods was recently recognized once again by readers of SKI magazine for having the best snow and grooming in the east, plus New Hampshire’s number one pick for overall satisfaction, lifts, lodging, guest services, dining family friendly and après ski scene.
