Cranmore’s Mountain Adventure Park will open for the summer on May 27

NORTH CONWAY, N.H. – Cranmore Mountain will open for its seventh summer season on Saturday, May 27, 2017. Cranmore’s Mountain Adventure Park offers a day’s worth of rides and activities for all ages, including the Mountain Coaster, Aerial Adventure Ropes Course, Giant Swing and Soaring Eagle Zip line and more.

The park offers a full day of outdoor activities, with all inclusive ticket options starting at $40 for children over 38” to 48”, $62 for children 48” to 54” and $72 for adults over 54”. The All Park pass includes unlimited rides in the Mountain Adventure Park and up to two hours in the Aerial Adventure Park. Mountain Adventure Park Passes and Aerial Adventure Park Passes are also available.

The Aerial Adventure Park is an aerial forest ropes course consisting of five individual, elevated courses for different ability levels consisting of dozens of challenging elements. Each course varies in terms of elevation and challenge. Elements include rope bridges, ladders, cargo nets, zip lines and an array of features. All courses are self guided and each person is snapped into a guide line. The Aerial Adventure course is a two hour adventure through the trees, and includes a mandatory 30 minute Ground School session at the beginning.

The Mountain Coaster is a two person coaster sled that offers thousands of feet of twisting, turning fun. The speed can be controlled for a leisurely ride or speedy downhill descent.

Cranmore brings its popular winter tubing attraction to summer with summer tubing on a special surface for a 400 foot ride down the mountain. Guests can ride the Magic Carpet lift to the top of the slope with a tube, and enjoy the slide back down.

The Giant Swing is a four person attraction that lets riders arc high into the sky. The Soaring Eagle Zip Line carries two riders backwards 700 feet and then zips forward to the base at approximately 35 miles per hour.

Riders have the option of purchasing a souvenir photo, taken on the descent of both the Mountain Coaster and Soaring Eagle Zip Line. The photo booth is located at the bottom of the Mountain Coaster.

The Bungy Trampoline lets guests fly high doing flips on one of four stations. The 65ft inflatable obstacle course, bouncy house and spider mountain climb offer hours of entertainment for guests of all ages. A climbing wall with paths marked for both beginner and experienced climbers gives guests an alternative route to the top of Spider Mountain.

The Mountain Adventure Park’s Kids Ropes Course, a new addition in summer 2015, is designed especially for children ages 3 and over. Located next to the Scenic Chairlift, this continuous belay course offers fun for younger guests, featuring bridges, zip lines and more.

Starting June 17, Cranmore guests can enjoy the surrounding views of North Conway and Mount Washington, on a four person chairlift ride to the summit. Guests can visit the Meister Hut at the summit of the mountain for lunch from the grill, before or after exploring the surrounding hiking trails, including the one mile hiking path to neighboring Black Cap Mountain, or a newly expanded half-mile hike around the summit of Cranmore.

The Meister Hut is also home to a satellite Tuckerman Brewery Tasting Room. The Tasting Room features five locally brewed Tuckerman Beers on tap.
In addition to the Meister Hut, Legends Grill, a full service food court, offers summer favorites like pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers, ice cream novelties and more. Locally crafted beer and wine is also available.
