Here are the snow conditions for Thursday, December 7 from Mt Washington Valley’s ski resorts:
Attitash– Snowmaking the name of the game here, around the clock as temps allow. Anticipated opening day is Dec 15, 2017. Check out the NEW Peak Discovery Program, a 3 lesson learn-to ski/snowboard package, valid at all 7 Northeast Peak Resorts.
Black Mountain -Re-opening: Dec 9, 2017. Mark the calendar for the Sam Adams Christmas Party on Dec. 23, 3:30-5:30pm.
Bretton Woods – Open daily! 16 trails, 4 lifts. Base depth: 4"-12", 93 acres of skiable terrain. Snowfall to date: 9". Snowmaking as temps allow. On Sat, Dec 9th, Sport Thoma offers the first demo days of the year.
Cranmore– Re-opening for daily operations Dec 9, 2017 with skiing & riding on average base depths of 8" – 12" plus tubing and Adventure Park options.
King Pine -King Pine Opening Day projected for Fri, Dec 15, 2017. Donate non-perishable food items on opening day and receive an additional $1 off for each item received ($5 discount per person max).
Shawnee Peak -Opening day tentatively projected for Dec 16, based upon weather conditions. Online ticket sales underway now.
Wildcat – Open daily! 9 trails, 1 lift, 63 acres of skiable terrain on base depths 4"-12". Snowfall to date: 5". Top to bottom snowmaking as weather allows. Scott Baer in the Pub for apres ski on Sat, Dec. 9th, 1-4pm.

Mt Washington Valley’s XC and Snowshoe Centers will open as soon as Mother Nature allows, with December dates in mind – fingers crossed! Meanwhile, plenty of outdoor lovers are making the best on the XC trails on fat bikes, where allowed. (Photo by WiseguyCreative.com) |
