NORTH CONWAY — Arts Jubilee’s 37th Summer Concert Series continues this Thursday, August 8th at Cranmore Mountain Resort! This week’s concert, the annual Pops Concert and fireworks show, will feature the Seacoast Wind Ensemble. The Mt. Washington Valley Band will open the show at 6:00, followed by the Seacoast Wind Ensemble at 7:00.
The Pops Concert has been an Arts Jubilee tradition since its founding in 1983. This special evening will feature a performance by the Seacoast Wind Ensemble—a 50-piece Sousa-style symphonic band. Under the direction of Artistic Director, Mark Stickney, the Seacoast Wind Ensemble will perform a traditional concert of pops favorites and light classics with some familiar Americana mixed in—all culminating with a spectacular fireworks show presented by Atlas Pyrotechnics.
Concert admission is $15 for adults, $10 for seniors, $5 for students, and free for kids 12 and under. All ticket sales are at the gate (cash or credit). There’s plenty of free parking, food trucks and beverages will be available on site, and there will be a raffle for a variety of great prizes at each concert. Seating is not provided at the venue, so concertgoers are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket. Animals are not allowed on the property except for leashed service dogs. All concerts are rain or shine. For more information visit www.artsjubilee.org. Special thanks to our August 8th Concert Lodging Sponsor: Spruce Moose Lodge.
