Trails End Ice Cream to open a second location at Settlers Green Streetside

June 10, 2019 (North Conway, NH) – Shoppers are in for a sweet treat at Settlers Green Streetside, with Trails End Ice Cream opening its second area location next to LOFT Outlet in July. The popular scoop shop serves up 28 flavors, including locally-made Bobby Sue’s Homemade Ice Cream, along with sundaes, frappes and soft serve ice cream.

Trails End has been owned and operated by local entrepreneurs Rob and Nancy Clark, and managed by their son Reid since 2017. The shop has been a staple spot for ice cream for over a decade at its flagship location at the Intervale Scenic Vista. Its Settlers Green location will have even more offerings for hungry shoppers including maple products, signature trail mix and gourmet-flavored popcorn, nuts and pretzels.

The shop hosts community-minded events including “Cone for a Cause” days on the first Wednesday of every month, which benefits a local nonprofit with 10 percent of all sales going toward the featured charity. It also sources products from local suppliers including milk for its milkshakes from Sherman Farm in East Conway and baked goods from Old Village Bakery in North Conway. Trails End is also environmentally friendly.

“We care deeply about our environment and we are always looking for ways to reduce our carbon footprint,” said Nancy Clark. “We use paper products and use biodegradable straws for our milkshakes.”

Trails End is yet another locally owned and operated eatery to join the Settlers Green portfolio, which is home to The Met Coffeehouse, White Mountain Cupcakery, Barley & Salt and soon-to-be-open FIRE by Wicked Fresh and its food kiosks Wicked Munchies and Wicked Street.

“We love that Settlers Green is not only becoming a shopping destination, but also a dining destination with something for everyone,” Nancy Clark said. “We are so excited to join the family of locally owned eateries at Settlers Green."
