5th Annual North Conway Strawberry Festival June 24

NORTH CONWAY, NH – Vaughan Community Services once again presents the North Conway Strawberry Festival on Saturday, June 24th from 11 AM until 4 PM on the historic grounds of the First Church of Christ Congregational. Their 5th festival, the event features fresh strawberries from Schartners farm in a variety of sweet treats including smoothies, strawberry shortcakes and hand dipped chocolate strawberries. While supplies last, fresh strawberries will be available for guests to purchase and take home. “The Strawberry Festival is one of our largest fundraisers for the work of the Vaughan food pantry and childcare center and a great way to spend the day in North Conway on a beautiful summer afternoon.” explained Administrator Denise Leighton.

All activities will take place rain or shine under the tent at the North Conway Congregational Church. Besides strawberry treats, the event also provides free entertainment with live music, character visits for great family photo opportunities, displays of antique vehicles, a white elephant sale, children’s games, free balloons, craft vendors and more.

Vaughan Community Services has provided services to the families of the North Conway area for over 40 years. The food pantry serves hundreds of families each year. The Vaughan Learning Center (VLC) provides quality daycare and pre-school learning for working families. VLC is affordably priced and offers a sliding fee scale and convenient hours, and is one of the only childcare centers the provides home cooked breakfast, lunch and snacks for the children. Additional services of Vaughan include the Survivors of Suicide support group and a range of emergency support for families in need.
