The best part of the Chili Cookoff for most is the chance to taste so many varieties of chili and cornbread. All professional chef chili entries will be judged by members from the American Culinary Federation White Mountain Chapter, headed by Bryant Alden, Chef from the Wildcat Tavern in Jackson. Professional and non-professional chefs will also have the chance to be awarded the People’s Choice Award for Best Chili too, selected by all tasters who attend the tour. Voting for their top choices of chilis is one of the best parts of the tour say many tourgoers each year.
