Four Epic Pass Mountains Scheduled to Open This Week Across The Northeast and Mid-Atlantic

Jackson, New Hampshire – November 11, 2019 – Mount Snow, Hunter Mountain, Wildcat Mountain, and Big Boulder today announced their scheduled opening dates for the 2019/2020 winter season. After a great start to snowmaking, including a very productive window this past weekend, Mount Snow, Wildcat, Hunter Mountain, and Big Boulder are all looking forward to welcoming old friends and new Epic Pass holders, when lifts start to spin.

Snowmaking teams at all four resorts plan to take advantage of the coming week’s snowmaking conditions and forecasted natural snowfall to ready the mountains for top-to-bottom skiing and riding at all four resorts, including terrain park features at Mount Snow’s Carinthia Parks and Big Boulder Parks.

Early season conditions will exist and resorts may not open with terrain suitable for all abilities. For the most up-to-date information on snowmaking, trail conditions, opening day details, and deals, guests are encouraged to check the snow report updates from Mount Snow, Wildcat Mountain, Hunter Mountain, and Big Boulder, and follow along on their social media channels.

“It’s an exciting time for Epic Pass holders in the East, as they will now have four open mountains to choose from, many of which will be all new to them due to our recent acquisition,” said Doug Pierini, Vice President and COO of Eastern Region at Vail Resorts. “With more resorts scheduled to open in the coming weeks our guests are in for a treat, as they will have 13 mountains to choose from across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.”

Scheduled Opening Dates:

  • Mount Snow – Wednesday, November 13, 2019
  • Wildcat Mountain & Hunter Mountain – Friday, November 15, 2019
