Weathervane Theatre Press Release – Nights of Northern Lights Entertainment Series

WHITEFIELD, NH – July 10, 2023 – Weathervane Theatre is excited to present its newest programming initiative Nights of Northern Lights Entertainment Series, a brand new entertainment series with something for everyone! Featuring performances by Broadway’s The Randy Andys (an homage to the Andrews Sisters featuring pop hits of today), Jazz vocalist Ashley Warwick, and Ashley Jane’s Hootenanny (a country and western rootin’ tootin’ good time) as well as Monday Night Movie Nights.

The Series

The Randy Andys – Wednesday, July 12 at 7:30 PM

The Randy Andys is a post-modern homage to The Andrews Sisters. Singing contemporary songs – Lizzo, Aerosmith, Mariah Carey, Madonna, Michael Jackson – with a wink and a nod to a bygone era featuring Broadway’s biggest and brightest starlets. Hailed by Broadway World as “musically stunning and comedically brilliant,” The Randy Andys serve sass and nostalgia in equal measure. Featuring 2019 Weathervane alum Alison Mahoney (Mother Superior in Sister Act), The Randy Andys will be accompanied by the Season 58 Weathervane Band with a special appearance by Jorge Donoso.

Jazz with Ashley Warwick Featuring Krimson Krewe – Friday, July 14 at 7:30 PM

Ashley Warwick is an in-demand sultry and expressive jazz vocalist with a lush, velvet tone, shaped by the golden era of torch singers and moody jazz clubs. She is a graduate of Berklee College of Music and a proud faculty member in the Music Business and Industry department at Northern Vermont University- Lyndon.

Ashley will be accompanied by The Krimson Krewe, a New Orleans style Mardi-Gras collected from Concord, NH. Driven by their love of New Orleans music, the Krimson Krewe was established by Mike Alberici and Paul Bourgelais in 2009. With Tim Gilmore on drums, Chris Noyes on upright bass, Craig Jaster on piano and accordion, Mike Albericci on saxophone, and Paul Bourgelais on guitar, The Krimson Krewe joins Ashley Warwick on stage for the first time at The Weathervane, bringing the special sauce to spice up the night.

Ashley Jane’s Hootenanny – Thursday, July 20 at 4:30 PM

Proudly playing the classics from the golden age of country and western music, Ashley Jane’s Hootenanny is a root’n, toot’n good time. Hootin’ and hollerin’ are encouraged and they always abide by the Code of The West. Sing and dance along to legendary songs by Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Gene Autry, Hank Williams, Loretta Lynn, and Patsy Montana, and more.
