The Sunset Concert Series returns to the Theater in the Wood!

Bringing music for everyone to the Mt. Washington Valley is the second annual Sunset Concert Series presented by Moat Mountain Brewing Co. at the Theater in the Wood!

INTERVALE, NH – Returning to the Theater in the Wood for the second summer in a row is the Sunset Concert Series presented by Moat Mountain Brewing Company! This exciting nine-week music series at the unique and intimate Theater in the Wood will be one any type of music fan in the valley will want to check out. Whether you enjoy soul, rock and roll, grunge, reggae, or country, there is something for everyone.

The Sunset Concert Series will kick off with a tribute to Jerry Garcia on his birthday, Saturday, August 1st, 2020 with none other than the “Blues-Grassicana” band, August First! The Big Takeover, led by the powerhouse, Jamaican-born singer and songwriter NeeNee Rushie, hits the stage the following Saturday, August 8th. Local favorites, The Starlight Honeys, join the lineup on August 15th and then the modern soul artist, Jesse Dee and his full band visit the Theater in the Wood on August 22nd. Billy Wylder and their incredible mixture of American folk and rock round out the month on the 29th.

Rocking and rolling into September, the grunge duo of Muddy Ruckus visits the Theater in the Wood on Saturday, September 5th as part of their North American Tour. On September 12th, the Sunset Concert Series pays homage to the one and only Bob Marley as The Duppy Conquerors hit the stage. The series then takes a turn into the world of country music with No Shoes Nation Band – a tribute to Kenny Chesney, performing on Saturday, September 19th. The final performance of the series will be a big one, as the angelic voice of Erinn Peet Lukes of Thunder and Rain soars through the Theater in the Wood on Saturday, September 26th.
