Cranmore Fitness Launches Fall Health and Wellness Workshop Schedule

Kicks off series with Brewing Kombucha for Digestive Health and Weight Loss

North Conway, NH (October 24, 2016) – This fall, Cranmore Fitness, the Valley’s largest fitness facility, launched a series of health and wellness workshops. Designed to help promote fitness within the community each class is taught by a certified fitness professional on varying topics.

“We started the series off on Thursday, October 20th with Brewing Kombucha for Digestive Health and Weight Loss.” Said Cranmore Fitness Program Lead, Ginger Rober. “We want these workshops to not only be informative, but engaging and hands on to help educate the community on health and wellness. It was great to see familiar and unfamiliar faces at the first workshop and we’ll be looking to add more to our schedule after the New Year. “

How to Train Smarter, Not Harder, Thursday, November 10th, 6:30pm-7:30pm, Jessica Quinn, NASM Certified Master Trainer & Sports Training Specialist

Know your body and learn how to generate maximal force and velocity to optimize performance for your sport! Jessica will let you in on some sport specific training tips to help achieve your peak level for your sport season while avoiding overtraining and injury.

Take Charge of Your Knee Health, Wednesday, November 16th, 6:30pm-7:30pm, Matt Geary, DPT

Chronic knee pain? Would you like to learn more about ACL prevention? Take control of your own knee health with this informative workshop! Matt will explain your knee function and dysfunctions while teaching you ways to gain strength and decrease pain. Limited to 20 people.

Foam Rolling for Recovery and Injury Prevention, Wednesday, November 30th, 6:30pm-7:30pm, Larissa Taylor, DC

Join Larissa in the functional gym area while she leads you through an active, fun foam rolling muscle releasing workshop! Larissa has a wealth of knowledge as a practicing chiropractor and Certified Fitness Guru. Wear your loose clothing to roll in and bring your own roller if you have one. This class is limited to 15 people.

Eating Through the Holidays Wednesday, December 7th, 6:30pm-7:30pm, Ginger Rober, Certified Personal Trainer, Cranmore Fitness Program Lead

Join Ginger in workshop geared to helping you create the power within yourself to choose the right foods through the holidays. Ginger has 20+ years of Personal Training and fitness instruction (including Cranmore Fitness’s 10 Day Fat Blast) as well as a degree in culinary arts. Create your own diet plan with realistic goals. Create party food plans. Give yourself permission to change your patterns now! Held in the upstairs lobby of Cranmore Fitness. Limited to 15 people. Bring paper, a pen and a positive attitude!
