Wow! 27″ of snow in Mt Washington Valley, NH in the past 7 days! Winter’s here.

Greetings and welcome to winter 2017 in Mt Washington Valley!

Thanks to the end-of-December bombogenesis (we love that word – it’s fun to say) Mt Washington Valley’s 13 ski resorts have opened tons of terrain and are jamming in the new year. With colder temps returning this week, snow guns are blasting on trails with base depths of up to 55”. Plus, the rain that fell in your back yards earlier this week was snow at many of the mountains, so we added to our snow totals this week, with Mt Washington Valley’s ski resorts reporting up to 27” of new snow in the past 7 days. We’re rocking up here in the White Mountains. Let the photos tell our story.
