White Mountain Outdoor Fest cancelled

WHITE MOUNTAIN OUTDOOR FEST SCHEDULED FOR EARLY JUNE 2020 IS CANCELLED

North Conway, NH – The Mt Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the White Mountain Outdoor Fest Committee has made the difficult decision to cancel the inaugural White Mountain Outdoor Fest scheduled for early June due to the ongoing pandemic. After much discussion and consideration, it was clear that the health and well-being of all participants, spectators, volunteers and hosts is the number one priority. The Committee felt that the only way to be sure to protect everyone involved from any exposure was to cancel the event for 2020.

The White Mountain Outdoor Fest was intended to be a three-day celebration of all things outdoors. The event was created to support the Spring season by introducing outdoor recreation and our beautiful trails to the Valley’s guests along with competitions for high level competitors and their families in early June. It’s the intention of the Outdoor Fest committee to resume planning in order to hold the event in early June, 2021.

Those registered to be a vendor at Gear Village will either be issued a refund for their registration fee or can opt to forward the vendor registration to 2021. Those involved may contact Melanie Luce at melanie.luce to discuss their intentions.

While the WMOF has been cancelled for 2020, some specific events that require a registration may be rescheduled and/or make their own event determinations. These specific events include:

Both the Mt Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce and the White Mountain Outdoor Fest Committee look forward to launching this celebration of the Valley’s recreational offerings and competitions in June, 2021.
