Bode Miller Returns to Cannon Mountain for BodeFest on March 17th

Franconia, NH. (February 26, 2019) – On Sunday, March 17th, Cannon Mountain will partner with Olympic medalist and four-time world skiing champion Bode Miller to host BodeFest. An annual day of skiing, racing, auctions and fun for all ages, the event primarily benefits the Turtle Ridge Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by Bode and his family that is dedicated to supporting innovative and progressive adaptive and youth athletic opportunities in our communities.

This year for BodeFest, the focus will be on local impact in the Franconia and Bethlehem communities. The Turtle Ridge Foundation will donate all of the event’s proceeds to the Safe Route to School Project. With these donations, the project intends to build safer routes to school from town center, year round access to beginner friendly outdoor activities, and non-motorized travel opportunities.

The BodeFest entry fee of $49 includes entry to Kids’ Ski with Bode Run (for kids 18 years old and under who can self-load a chair lift and ski unassisted); a one-run, modified GS format fun race on Gremlin Trail; entry to the autograph session with Bode; a BBQ lunch, participant goodie bag and commemorative event item; and a BodeFest VIP Pass. The day also includes a silent and live auction to benefit the Turtle Ridge Foundation that’s open to everyone.

So far this season, Cannon has received over 11 feet of snow, making it an ideal weekend to come support the cause.
