ARTS JUBILEE PRESENTS JOHN DENVER TRIBUTE

NORTH CONWAY — TheArts Jubilee Summer Concert Series returns to the Mt. Washington Valley for a 37th year this Thursday, July 18th outdoors at Cranmore Mountain Resort! The first of five concerts will feature Chris Collins & Boulder Canyon: A Tribute to John Denver. Concert time is 7:00, with local opening act Morgen Allain & Roger Sorlien starting at 6:00.

Chris Collins & Boulder Canyon have toured the country together delighting audiences with their talent, warmth, and humor. Collins and some of the original artists of Boulder Canyon met in Aspen, Colorado at the largest annual celebration of John Denver’s life and music. Since that first initial meeting, Collins & Boulder Canyon have gone on to tour from coast-to-coast to pay tribute to the music of John Denver. Although you may detect some similarities in voice and appearance, Chris Collins brings amazing energy to the stage as an award-winning singer, songwriter, and entertainer. Collins & Boulder Canyon are not an impersonation act, but seek to honor John Denver’s legacy with fresh energy and musical integrity.

Concert admission is $15 for adults, $10 for seniors, $5 for students, and free for kids 12 and under. All ticket sales are at the gate, cash or credit. There’s plenty of free parking, food trucks and beverages will be available on site, and there will be a raffle for a variety of great prizes at each concert. Seating is not provided at the venue, so concertgoers are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket. Animals are not allowed on the property except for leashed service dogs.
