Wildcat is Making Snow

On October 17, 2018 at approximately 2 p.m. Wildcat Mountain in Pinkham Notch, NH charged up their snowmaking system for the first time this season, making this one of their earliest starts ever.

A snowmaking crew made their way to the 4,062 foot summit, and by 6 p.m. temperatures had dropped into favorable snowmaking range. Snowmaking guns have been turned on Upper and Middle Lynx and they will remain on as long as possible. Temperatures are looking good going into Friday, as well as next week.

Along with the start of snowmaking season, Wildcat Mountain is also reminding skiers and riders of the season pass savings deadline that is on October 19, 2018. The Peak Pass includes unlimited access to 10 mountains in the Northeast.
