Military Personnel Ski Free this Weekend at Attitash & Wildcat

MILITARY SALUTE WEEKEND RETURNS TO ATTITASH AND WILDCAT JANUARY 27 & 28

Complimentary Lift Tickets and Activities for Active, Veteran and Retired Military Service Men and Women

Bartlett/Pinkham Notch, NH – Attitash Mountain Resort and Wildcat Mountain will recognize our nation’s defenders by offering free lift tickets for active, veteran and retired service men and women as well as discounted lift tickets for active duty family members. Proper identification is required to obtain complimentary and discounted tickets for Saturday, January 27 and Sunday, January 28. While all honorary and fun activities will take place at Attitash Mountain Resort, Wildcat Mountain, located in Pinkham Notch just 20 minutes from Attitash, will also offer complimentary and discounted tickets.

On Saturday, January 27, at Attitash Mountain Resort, everyone is welcome to participate in the on-snow flag parade taking place at 1:00 p.m. Following the parade, Jennifer Teft will sing the National Anthem in front of the huge garrison Flag hung from the Bartlett’s Fire Department ladder truck. Later in the day, live entertainment featuring The Jonathan Sarty Band will take place in Ptarmigan’s Pub beginning at 3 p.m. Sunday features the 7th annual Battle of the Branches GS Ski Race, a fun race for all ages. Those wishing to participate will select which branch they wish to represent and points will go toward each team to determine a branch winner.

In addition to the Military Salute festivities at Attitash, Wildcat will be hosting it’s 60th Anniversary Celebration Thursday, January 25 through Sunday, January 28. Highlights include discounted lift tickets, birthday cake, a memorabilia display, and a HUGE fireworks display on Saturday, January 27 at 5 p.m.
