Entrain Live at Cranmore – 8/10/17 – 7 PM

ENTRAIN TO PERFORM FINAL 2017 ARTS JUBILEE CONCERT

NORTH CONWAY – Arts Jubilee presents the final concert of the 2017 summer season, featuring the “quintessential blues-calypso-zydeco-pop-rock-jazz-and a ton of drums band” Entrain, outdoors at Cranmore Mountain Resort this Thursday, August 10th at 7 pm.

Epic in sound and kaleidoscopic in vision, the eclectic Martha’s Vineyeard-based Entrain has been thrilling critics and fans alike since its inception. Formed by drummer Tom Major in 1993, Entrain is also made up of lead singer/guitarist Brian Alex, bassist M’Talewa, saxophonist/keys/percussionist Rob Loyot, saxophonist/percussionist Hilary Noble, and Trombone/keyboardist Lennie Peterson. Veterans all, their collective resume includes performances with the likes of James Taylor, Grateful Dead alum Bob Weir, and rock legend Bo Diddley. Entrain’s goal is not just to be the biggest and the best, says Major. "We want to create music that makes people feel good. When we look out from the stage, all we see are smiling faces of all ages and bodies moving. You can’t beat that feeling. At the same time if we can help to promote positive values and lifestyles… great! There’s enough negativity in the world, so let’s spread a little joy around and watch how infectious it can be." The Kelly Karuzis Band will be performing the opening concert at 6 pm.

Admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, $5 for students, and free for kids 12 and under. Tickets are available at the gate (we accept cash, Visa, and Mastercard). Please note that there is no seating provided at the venue, but attendees are welcome to bring blankets or set up lawn chairs. There is plenty of free, convenient parking on site. Food and beverages are available on the Zips Pub deck. Arts Jubilee requests that our audience comply with the following Cranmore policy: Dogs, with the exception of leashed service dogs, are not allowed on the property. The concerts are ‘rain or shine’ events, so we advise concertgoers to come prepared as they would to any outdoor events. Cranmore Mountain is located at 239 Skimobile Road in North Conway, NH.
