Cranmore Celebrates Christmas Vacation Week with Festive Events

Cranmore Mountain is the place to be this Christmas Vacation week. With a jam-packed schedule and new extended hours, the resort has families covered for celebrations all week long.

Cranmore’s signature family event, Cranapalooza, featuring DJ Kris10, games and s’mores will take place December 27th through December 30th from 2:30pm to 4:30pm in Schneider Square.

On the morning of December 31st, Cranmore passholders can get first tracks with President and General Manager, Ben Wilcox. Passholders can meet Ben at the Skimobile Express Quad at 7:45am. First tracks will be followed by coffee and cinnamon rolls at the summit Meister Hut.

Guests can ring in 2018 with C-more the Penguin at a special New Year’s edition of Cranapalooza. Geared for guests and families of all ages, the festivities begin at 2pm in Schneider Square. The celebration will feature DJ Kris10, a fire dancer, s’mores, family games and activities throughout the afternoon, plus fireworks at 6pm at the base of the South Slope.

Cranmore passholders are invited to a family-friendly New Year’s Eve Passholder Party on the third floor of the main base lodge from 5pm to 8pm. The celebration will include a cash bar, appetizers, live music and a private viewing area for fireworks.

All of vacation week, from December 27th through December 31st, from 3pm to 6pm, there will be après music in Zip’s Pub and Grille, featuring some of the Valley’s favorite musicians. Performers include White Steer, Ben Cook, Mitch Alden and more.

On December 29th, Sport Thoma will host a demo day next to the retail shop. From 9am to 2pm, guests are welcome to test out the latest fleet of demo gear.

Throughout vacation week, guests are welcome to tour the Kearsarge Brook Model Unit, open daily from 11am to 4pm. Real Estate staff will also be on-site.

Cranmore’s Tubing and Mountain Adventure Park activities will offer extended hours for the holiday period. Activities will run December 26th through 31st from 10am to 8pm and January 1st from 10a to 4pm.

Ski area operations during the holiday week, December 26th to 31st, are from 8:30am to 8pm and from 8:30am to 4pm on January 1st.
