Get out and about! Come celebrate spring at Tin Mountain’s First Season Benefit Dinner Auction on Sat, March 11 at 5 PM at the Fryeburg Academy Ada Wadsworth Arena. Tickets are $55 each and reservations and prepayment are requested. For reservations call Tin Mountain at 603-447-6991.

Join Tin Mountain trustees, staff and friends for a fabulous evening at the First Season Benefit Dinner Auction. Enjoy good cheer and bid on hundreds of exciting items donated by local businesses and craftspeople. Tin Mountain’s First Season Festival Dinner Auction is the premier auction in the greater Mount Washington Valley and is considered one of the finest social gatherings of the season, with an enthusiastic crowd of over 400. The First Season Benefit Dinner & Auction provides critical support for Tin Mountain’s environmental education programs offered to area children and adults.

Mountain Top Strings will perform delightful music as attendees mingle in a forest-like setting. A festive burst of floral centerpieces courtesy of Hill’s Florist and Nursery hints at the color spring soon will display. This year’s theme entitled “The Get Out and About…” promises a certain items for every season of the year that will encourage all to be out in nature including a sailboat, kayak, flyfishing equipment, a new hybrid bicycle, sleds and wagons, ski passes, hiking gear. With over 300 unique silent auction items donated by local businesses, craftsman and artists including fine dining certificates, luxurious and rugged getaways, furniture, fine art, blown glass, sculptures—there is something for everyone! Local celebrity, George Cleveland regally presides as auctioneer over a select group of unique live bid items including summer camperships and the mystery wood nymph money basket.

The event begins at 5 PM. Come early to view silent and live bid items, listen to music, purchase a drink at the cash bar, enjoy the music and feast on Hors d’oeuvres, compliments of select Valley Original restaurants.

An exceptional dinner prepared by Chef Kevin Fallen of Personal Touch Catering begins with garden tossed salad with assorted dressings and bread rolls, broccoli quinoa pecan salad with orange mustard dressing, assorted domestic and imported cheese platter with crackers, broccoli quinoa pecan salad with orange mustard dressing, cherry tomato and spinach salad with basil parsley vinaigrette, home style mashed potatoes, rice pilaf, carved prime rib of beef, baked haddock, stuffed breast of chicken, chef’s dessert table with apple crisp, bread pudding, chocolate and grapenut puddings whip cream and a coffee and tea station.

A cash bar will be provided by the Oxford House Inn and sodas by Pepsi Varsity Beverage. To satisfy any remaining craving Lindt Chocolate provides complimentary smooth, creamy chocolate truffles.

Reservations and payment in advance are requested as seating is assigned and space is limited. Tickets are $55 each.
