Tickets to 12th Annual BodeFest at Cannon Mountain Available Online

Event to be held Saturday, March 25

March 21, 2017 – Franconia, NH – Tickets to the 12th annual BodeFest at Cannon Mountain are still available on the ski area’s website, CannonMt.com. Tickets are $59 each, with sales closing when all 400 slots are filled. Online registration is open through Thursday, March 23 with on-site registration available if there are spots remaining.

The annual event, which will be held Saturday, March 25, benefits The Turtle Ridge Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded by Olympic medalist and four-time world skiing champion, Bode Miller, and his family to support innovative and progressive adaptive and youth athletic opportunities in area communities.

While the event is open to all ages, portions are geared to younger skiers. This year’s BodeFest events include

  • a Kids Ski With Bode Run (for ages 18 and under who can self-load a chairlift and ski unassisted; lift ticket or season pass required);
  • a “BodeFest Fun Race,” one run in a modified Giant Slalom format on the Gremlin Trail; and a
  • private autograph session with the Bode.

A special ticket rate of $30 for the day will be available to all registered participants.

The event also includes a live and silent auction on the day of the event, which is open to participants and members of the general public. “The auction typically has some spectacular items, including season passes, Olympic memorabilia and tons of other one-of-a-kind items,” remarked Greg Keeler, Cannon’s director of marketing and sales. Auction items include a pair of Bomber Skis, a weekend stay at Bode’s Ski House, original “Bode” painting, Cannon 2017/18 season passes, US Ski Team jacket and other authentic USST apparel, Indian Head Resort get-a-way, and a multitude of getaways, ski gear and collectors’ items signed by Bode.

The 2017 BodeFest registration fee includes entry into all of the events, a BodeFest goodie bag with a collector’s event t-shirt supplied by Mountain Dew, BBQ lunch ticket, and entry into the huge bib raffle drawing. One hundred percent of the registration fees goes directly to The Turtle Ridge Foundation. The event is made possible with contributions from the following sponsors: Cannon Mountain, Putnam Investments, Mountain Dew, Phoenix Timing, World Cup Supply, Franconia Ski Club, Neville Point Land Services, Chutters Candy Shop, Aztech, Bomber Skis, and MG12.

Entries cannot be resold, are not transferable and are non-refundable. See CannonMt.com/bodefest.html for more details.
