Storybook Character Breakfast Series at Believe in Books

Meet the Cat in the Hat, Curious George, Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan and so many more at the Theater in the Wood!

INTERVALE, NH – This weekend Believe in Books Literacy Foundation is excited to kick off their 9th annual Storybook Character Breakfast Series at the Theater in the Wood! Families from all over are welcomed to join this fantastic literacy program where children have the opportunity to see books come to life while enjoying a delicious pancake breakfast!

The series begins Saturday, March 2nd, with a visit from the Cat in the Hat to celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday! Join BIBLF at 9:30 am when doors open to grab a yummy pancake breakfast served with their very own 100-Acre Wood Maple Syrup! A $5 donation per person is suggested. Fill your plate and head into the theater to enjoy the reading of a classic Dr. Seuss story or two. All visitors will have the opportunity to meet and greet the Cat in the Hat after the reading! The reading will begin promptly at 10:00 am. The Storybook Character Breakfast Series will run Saturdays through April 20th, at the Theater in the Wood where you can meet other classic storybook characters such as Curious George, Cinderella, Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan, Beauty and the Beast, Tigger, and Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax. Use of the 100-Acre Wood trail system is included with breakfast as well as the ½ mile Storybook Trail.

Finally, guests are encouraged to stop by the 100-Acre Wood Sugar Shack for a sample of warm maple syrup and BIBLF’s famous maple popcorn!
