Peak Resorts sells Attitash Grand Summit Hotel to Unit Owners

Bartlett, NH. –  September 12, 2018 – Peak Resorts Inc., owners & operators of Attitash Mountain Resort, announced Wednesday that it has sold the commercial unit at the Grand Summit to the Unit Owners Association.

The commercial unit consists of the front desk and office areas, a restaurant and bar, a snack bar and all the meeting space.

“The sale allows us to focus all our resources on our core businesses at the resort and gives the Association the opportunity to self manage the entire property ”, stated John Lowell, GM & VP of Attitash Mountain Resort.

Attitash Mountain Resort is finishing up another successful summer season which concludes with their 21st annual Oktoberfest held over Columbus Day weekend.

Winter season passes, Peak Passes, are on sale at a discount until October 19, 2018.  Season passes are valid at Attitash, Wildcat and five other eastern ski resorts.

“We are expecting another great season at our resorts and look forward to the arrival of colder weather”, continued Lowell.

Attitash has upgraded its snowmaking system with new pipe, increased pumping capacity and five completly rebuilt valve houses.  Earlier this summer the mountain operations team replaced bearings on the Flying Bear chairlift.

Snowmaking at sister resort Wildcat can begin as early as mid to late October and will soon follow at Attitash.
