Pasta Mia, New Italian Style Restaurant Comes to the Valley!

Glen, NH – December, 2019Living Shores Aquarium opened to the public on November 4, now with a month under its belt the Story Land team will introduce attached restaurant, Pasta Mia! Just steps from Story Land, the restaurant will operate year-round and offers quick service Italian for visitors of all ages to enjoy starting Tuesday, December 3rd.

Pasta Mia has a variety of delicious pizzas, pasta dishes, salads, and sandwiches ranging from Chicken Parmigiana, Lobster Mac N Cheese, and Lasagna, to Greek, BBQ, and Hawaiian pizzas. Subs and wraps include classic meatball and chicken parmesan along with many other crowd favorites. Also equipped with a full bar, Pasta Mia will be serving signature cocktails, draft and bottled beer as well as wine by the glass and bottle. Let’s not forget this brand new quick style restaurant is kid friendly with favorites like mac n cheese, cheese pizza, and spaghetti all made to order. Finish off your dining experience with Italian favorites like gelato, tiramisu, and cannoli while sipping espresso or your favorite latte.

Opening Tuesday, December 3rd, Pasta Mia will operate Tuesday through Friday from 4 pm – 8 pm for dinner service and take out. Weekends will expand with lunch service, Saturdays from 11 am – 8 pm and Sundays 11 am – 4 pm. Guests visiting Living Shores Aquarium are encouraged to dine at Pasta Mia before or after their experience but it is not limited to only those visiting the aquarium. All are welcome to walk in and dine at Pasta Mia for lunch or dinner or belly up to bar for a delicious signature cocktail and dessert. Living Shores Aquarium features four tide pool areas, where kids and adults alike can reach into the water and touch creatures big and small, from Sea Stars and Hermit Crabs, to Sting Rays and Bamboo Sharks! The Tropical Rainforest Aviary is fully immersive, and Lorikeets soar overhead from perch to perch, while Red Footed Tortoises meander along the rainforest floor. More than 10 other exhibits are called home by approximately 100 different species, including brightly colored Caribbean life, freshwater fish found in New Hampshire’s lakes and rivers, and the well-known Clown Fish and Blue Tang. The center of the main exhibit floor is home to Living Shores’ most entertaining residents – Asian Small-Clawed Otters. These social, intelligent, and vocal animals are sure to charm everyone with their mischievous antics.

In addition to its aquatic and animal exhibits, Living Shores also features two interactive discovery stations where kids can explore and create! The Augmented Reality Sandbox adjusts to valleys and mountains dug in the sand, allowing kids to see what kind of marine life lives in the landscape they created. At Draw Alive, children can design and color their own underwater creatures, scan them, then watch as they come alive in a giant wall-sized underwater environment.
