Mud Bowl parade registration deadline Sept. 5

CONWAY — Registration is now under way for the 35th Tournament of Mud Parade, set to roll down North Conway’s Main Street Saturday, Sept. 9, at 10 a.m. as part f this year’s "Children’s Muddy Shows"-themed Mud Bowl.

Parade deadline is Sept. 5. Groups interested in being in the parade are asked to email Parade Chair Josh Snell JSnell@SVMSnellBros.com.

The parade is sponsored by Amoskeag Beverages.

Prizes are offered for first, second and runner-up in both the team and open class.

Serving as grand marshal will be the Conway Daily Sun’s Tom Eastman, longtime publicist for Mud Bowl,

Mud Bowl features 12 teams from throughout New England, including the 11-time champion Mt. Washington Valley Hogs and the 2013 champs, the North Country Mud Crocs. Games are played in Hog Coliseum, Friday through Sunday, Sept. 8-10.
