Four ski resorts & 3 XC Centers open this weekend in Mt Washington Valley, NH!

December 10, 2020

Holiday greetings from Mt Washington Valley, NH!

After last weekend’s storms, great snowmaking weather this week and a few more dustings, it’s really beginning to look like winter in Mt Washington Valley. We netted at least a foot of snow in the northern resorts of Mt Washington Valley from the storm last weekend. Snowmaking has been underway around the clock and will continue as temps allow. This allowed many of the ski resorts to open last weekend and a few of the XC Centers too. While some closed midweek, we are looking at four ski resorts and three XC Centers open this weekend! We’re living up to our designation as the #1 ski town in North America, I guess! Keeping our fingers crossed that precipitation in the mountains will be snow this weekend.
