Lodge to Hut: Women’s Snowshoe to Carter Notch

This adventure is designed for women in search of a fun winter experience. Our trip begins with an orientation session and overnight at AMC's Joe Dodge Lodge in Pinkham Notch before we strap on our snowshoes and trek to AMC's backcountry hut in Carter Notch. Exploring the forest, listening for wintertime birds and investigating animal tracks along the way give us ample opportunity to experience Carter Notch area in winter. King Pine Cardboard Box Derby

Build a cardboard box vessel (for two or four racers) with your own theme and choose your own theme music (we will search for music on Spotify) and head down our special racecourse. Cardboard box entrees must be built entirely out of cardboard (no wood or metal allowed). Boxes may be held together with tape, glue or stitched. Contestants are encouraged to wear helmets.

Pond Skimming and Beach Party at King Pine

Eat the Heat Chili Cook Off at Sunday River

Art Celebrates Place
