Cranmore to Host White Mountain Milers’ 30th Annual Hill Climb

NORTH CONWAY, N.H. – Runners can tackle the ups and downs of Cranmore Mountain at the 30th annual Hill Climb this summer.

Recognized by Outside Magazine as one of the ultimate races for 2015’s 365 Day Bucket List, this year’s race, organized by the White Mountain Milers, will take place at Cranmore Mountain, on Sunday, July 10.

“Not a lot of races change their course every year. It makes it fun for the regulars who do the race every year. It also makes it fun for me as a race director, as I get to try and figure out new challenges and sections each year,” said Race Director, Paul Kirsch.

This multi-lap race up the mountain changes its course each summer, providing runners with a new challenge to conquer. This year’s race will be between 10-13 kilometers in total. While it does attract elite runners, the race is open to all ages and abilities.

The Hill Climb has hosted the US Mountain Running Championships four times, as well as hosted the NACAC Mountain Running Championship, with teams from the United States, Mexico and Canada.

In addition to title sponsor, Northeast Delta Dental, race sponsors include Julbo, EliteFeats and Salomon.

Runners can register online at whitemountainmilers.com. Registration is currently $20 until July 7 and $25 on the day of the race.

On Sunday, Cranmore’s Mountain Adventure Park attractions will also be open from 10am to 5pm. For more information on the Mountain Adventure Park, please visit www.Cranmore.com.
