Believe in Books Youth Theatre presents: Disney’s Mulan, Jr.

Opening this weekend at the Theater in the Wood to celebrate the 20th anniversary of a classic tale, Disney’s Mulan, Jr. takes center stage.

INTERVALE, NH – This weekend Believe in Books Youth Theatre is celebrating Disney! 20 years ago, the classic animated film, Mulan hit theaters and introduced audiences to the charming, musical, action-adventure story based on the Chinese legend Hua Mulan. Parents and children alike enjoyed the relatable story line along with the smashing hit songs to make it a true Disney classic tale. To celebrate this timeless story, Believe in Books Youth Theatre will be premiering Disney’s Mulan, Jr. at the Theater in the Wood in Intervale this weekend!

There are three opportunities to see Mulan Jr. performances. Youth actors and actresses between the ages of 7 and 15 will be acting, singing, and dancing their hearts out starting on Friday, October 26th at 7:00 pm. There will be a second performance on Saturday, October 27th at 7:00 pm and a third performance on Sunday, October 28th at 5:00 pm. Doors will open a half hour before each performance and concessions will be available for purchase as well as “CandyGrams” that can be sent to the performers as a fundraiser for the youth theatre.

Rosa Tepe will be starring in the performance as Mulan with Beckett Clark beside her as Mushu. Sam Vallee stars as Captain Shang alongside this youthful cast. There are 30 local youth actors and actresses performing in this production. Tickets, $12 per adult, or $10 for BIBLF Members, seniors over 60, and children 4-12, are available for purchase at www.believeinbooks.org. Children 3 and under are free for any of the performances.
