Believe in Books Literacy Foundation Announces Scholarship Opportunities

With Spring right around the corner, Believe in Books Literacy Foundation is looking forward to gifting scholarships this year to active volunteers.

INTERVALE, NH – Scholarship opportunities can be difficult to find sometimes and the cost of furthering one’s education can seem quite daunting.  Believe in Books Literacy Foundation is looking to help take some of that burden off of some local students this Spring.

Every year, BIBLF accepts scholarship applications from volunteers that are either high school seniors graduating this May or students currently pursuing higher education and continuing into another academic year.  Students who have volunteered for a combined total of at least 50 hours, 25 of which in the 2018 calendar year, can apply for a BIBLF Scholarship award.

To apply students must complete an application form that can be found at www.believeinbooks.org. Along with their application, students must include a letter of recommendation from someone who knows them well such as a teacher or an employer and a brief essay about the student’s favorite experience with BIBLF.

The deadline for applications is May 31st, 2019 and can be mailed to Believe in Books Literacy Foundation, c/o Erin Sweeney, PO Box 1800,Intervale, NH 03845.
