About the Snow: Up to 14″ of white powdery fluff in the past 6 days in Mt Washington Valley, NH

We are on a roll. This must be the 4th week in a row where we’ve received a lovely coating of new powdery snow midweek, making for perfect conditions moving into the weekend. Mt Washington Valley’s ski resorts and XC Centers received anywhere from two to four inches of pure fluff on Wednesday. Couple that with ongoing snowmaking as temps allow, and we’re skiing and riding on bases up to 55” at our alpine resorts, with as much as 122” of snowfall reported this season. North Conway was named among the top 30 small towns for winter sports this week, right up there with Aspen, Jackson Hole and Steamboat Springs. And best of all, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow this morning so we have six more weeks (at least) of winter to look forward to supposedly. All the elements are aligning to make 2017 the best ski season in years.
